Kirsten Fouquet
I moved to the Napa Valley in 2012 to start my college education at Pacific Union College (PUC) in Angwin, California. I attended PUC for four years and graduated with my Bachelors in Liberal Studies and my California Teaching Credential. In college I fell in love with weight lifting and have adopted a healthy living style. I accepted my first teaching position at Canyon Oaks Elementary School (COES) where I taught first grade for a year. In the past four years since then, I have married my high school sweet heart and we have recently had our first child in March 2020.
I am currently still teaching in American Canyon, California. I have been teaching for four years at COES and love what I do. I am currently teaching third grade for the 2019 - 2020 school year and working on my masters at Touro University in their Innovative Learning Program. I am focusing on writing and how to teach students to write a narrative that is CAASPP and common core aligned.
